Always Watching by Lynette Eason

Always Watching book cover

Olivia Edwards has been tasked with protecting radio personality Wade Savage, who has been receiving odd calls and gifts from an apparent stalker. The stalker has finished playing nicely, however, and begins to threaten those closest to Wade, drawing them into a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse. Olivia must call on all her reserves as her skills and expertise are put to the test against the unseen force. In addition to protecting Wade, her heart becomes involved as Olivia realizes Wade is more than simply a client.

Lynette Eason always writes novels full of action and suspense from page one, and this particular book is no exception. I enjoy the fast-paced storyline but I also think this sometimes detracts from getting to know the characters on a deeper level. Nevertheless, this book is far from dull and despite the fact that the villain is a little predictable, there are twists intertwined that make the plot interesting. I liked the characters and their interactions, the romance well woven into the dangers of the story. Overall, I liked this novel and recommend it to lovers of contemporary suspense.

I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
