Trial Run by Thomas Locke

Dr. Gabriella Speciale has developed a program that seems almost impossible. She has unlocked a portion of quantum physics that allows people to transcend, or travel through time and space. But her research has not gone unnoticed. Reese Clawson may be on the other side of the world, but she also has invested much time and money into similar technology. As their two worlds clash, danger begins to leak into the science and loyalties are questioned. However, the multidimensional world in which the scientists are working only makes things much more complicated.

This book is fairly exploding with complex physics, action, and suspense. It was easy to delve into the world of science and speed through the chapters. There are a lot of characters and mystery initially, which makes the first few pages a big harder to get through, but once the pieces start coming together, the book flows seamlessly to the end. I was also a bit disappointed to find the ending somewhat a cliffhanger, as I can be impatient waiting for the next novel. I must also caution that this book is full of very complex science themes, which may be overwhelming for some readers, a true testament to the great mind of the author. Overall, the book is very creative and well written, perfect for those who enjoy suspense and complexity as it certainly makes its readers think!

I received a copy of this book from Revell Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
